Note: Most installation problems are caused by electrical wiring errors. The most common wiring problem is when the neutral wire from the spa is connected to the Neutral bus in the GFCI. The Neutral wire from the spa should be connected to the Neutral lug on the GFCI breaker. Click here to see an image of this type of wiring error.

 

A certified, licensed electrician should install all wiring to your spa as per any NEC and local codes.

A GFCI box must be installed at least five feet away from your spa.
